Poem To My Pregnant Sister

"All I Want to Know Is How so all systems go All kinds and because Miss - Jeff ..."

Today I will talk about the songs written by many artists in tribute to Jeff Buckley.

I will only speak of my favorites here, as you can probably find the list by searching on Google and my goal is not to make an "inventory " but to talk about art, music, feelings .. .
I hate looking for a list of songs on the Internet with a specific theme and listen to the queue without feelings ... Like " fall in love" in a song, " meet " if it makes sense! Anyway, for me it is one ...

I just discovered these songs at random (the best way to discover a song in my opinion ...), while going on a blog that one of my relatives advised me ( http://fuelfriends.blogspot.com/2005/11/jeff-buckley.ht ml), I listened to those whose article was talking about, but the following four songs in particular touched me.

Here are their titles, you will find their words at the end of my article, and you can listen to them on the blog that I put the link above:

Memphis, PJ Harvey
Live In Blue Sparks , Rebecca Moore
A Body Goes Down , Duncan Sheik
Trying Not To Think About It , Julianna Hatfield

I find these songs shocking and poignant by their spontaneity. When I listen, I feel what I feel is best expressed in these words, ces sons, même si cela peut paraître étrange...
Comme ce  sentiment d'absurdité, que l'on retrouve dans  A Body Goes Down , " And tell me one more time, w hat is just,  What is right  "),  Trying Not To Think About It ,  "I want to close my eyes and sleep for a year, Tell me that it's only a dream, That it's a nightmare /  Everything is wrong "and in Memphis, " Though Were You Ready, Ready To Go Were You? / Goal oh what a way to go ".
Or the pain mixed with anger that the found in the intense melodies and Memphis Live In Blue Sparks ...
Once we heard a song like Memphis which I mentioned in a previous article, we can not forget ... These are the songs that haunt you throughout the day ....

Memphis - PJ Harvey

You're breathing in my mouth
I'll take it, I'll take it for you

You wanna sing
Then sing it through me
You've got something left to say

Untie me, we're taking away
Unlikely, out if time
When you still got so much to say
Well I'll write it, a song for you

But oh what a way to go
So peaceful
You're smiling
Oh what a way to go
I'm with you
I'm singing

You said there's a special place
And it's scaring the shit out of me
In Memphis on Valentines' Day
You wrote it in a letter to me
Well I wish I had given you more time
To say thank you, my beautiful friend
But sometimes you gotta send it away
To bring it, to bring it back again

But oh what a way to go
So peaceful
You're smiling
Oh what a way to go
I'm with you
And I'm singing

You'll always have open eyes
You'll always have a special place
In Memphis on Valentines Day
Die suddenly at a wonderful age
Though were you ready, were you ready to go?
When you still got so much to say
Somehow I know you're driving slow
Receiving just everything

But oh what a way to go
So peaceful
You're smiling
Oh what a way to go
I'm know that
You're smiling

You're peaceful
You're smiling

Live in Blue Sparks -  Rebecca Moore

HEAR THE SOUND SO SWEET
BLACKENED LIPS MEET AND FALL
OUTSIDE THE NITE SKY
IS WHITE AND CLEAR
I HEAR IT SMOLDER
I WON THIS REALM AND ALL SAINT ISLES
UNDER THE SEA
LOUD AND DULL
UTMOST SOUL - YOU TOLD ME SO (WE’D COME SO FAR)
ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS HOW SO…
ALL SYSTEMS GO AND CAUSE ALL KINDS
MISS - JEFF.

I’M NOT AFRAID
I WALK WITH MY LITTLE HORNED KIDS
SO WON’t YOU SMILE
A ONCE ALL THE WHILE
I KNOW YOU LIVE IN BLUE SPARKS
WOULD YOU RIGHT
IT’S ALL I FEEL LIKE AND LET ME GO
OH….

DON’T KNOW WHICH WAY TO RUN
A KISS COULD HOP INSIDE AND SLIDE
LEARN TO KEEP THIS ENERGY INSIDE OF ME WORKING
WHAT WOULD I WOULD TO GIVE FOR YOUR REENTRY
I KNOW THAT CAN’T BE

I’M NOT AFRAID
I WALK WITH MY LITTLE HORNED KIDS
SO WOULD YOU SMILE
ONCE N’WHILE
I KNOW YOU LIVE IN BLUE SPARKS
WOULD YOU RIGHT
IT’S ALL I FEEL LIKE
AND LET ME GO
WOULD YOU RIGHT
IT’S ALL I FEEL LIKE
AND LET ME GO…

SUDDENLY THE SOUND FALL DOWN…
OH…

A Body Goes Down -  Duncan Sheik

Once in a while

A man comes along
Even his failures were favorite songs
Oh to have made something so unsurpassed
As certain things fall away
So certain things last
A body goes down
In the Mississippi waters
Weighted by a beauty
Afraid of its light
Notify your holy men
Console your sons and daughters
And tell me one more time
What is just
What is right
Chances are good
We spread blasphemous lies
Safe to say nobody knew what was inside
Of course there is grace
And those halos of pain
Maybe he sang what he came here to sing

Speed on to the next world
Speed on to the next life
Better I'm sure by far
Orpheus driven
Treasures given
Heal the most broken of hearts
Speed on, speed on, speed on

Trying Not To Think About It -  Julianna Hatfield

Southern California is bad for the soul

And New York City takes its toll
The Mississippi River has a mean undertow
How can I shield myself from the things that I hear
I want to close my eyes and sleep for a year
Tell me that it's only a dream
That it's a nightmare
Trying not to think about it
Trying to
not think about it
Your Mother How Can Be So strong
Her Only When baby is gone
I Do not Know Where You Are
Everything Is Wrong
So I'm
Trying not to think about it
