Wendigo # 1: a new novel by VICTOR ROUSSEAU

The composition of the contents of Wendigo # 1 comes to an end ...!

Last Author Anglo-Saxon to be programmed for this first delivery, Victor Rousseau Wharf unknown in France despite a faceted work and going from best to worst, all in the great tradition of pulp fiction authors such as we cherish them eventually ...

Life of Victor Rousseau, whose real name Victor Rousseau Emanuel (1879 - 1960, UK and USA) is itself a rather mysterious and only the relentless search of the American Morgan Wallace helped to unravel a much and to establish that the career of Victor Rousseau (aka HM Egbert, Lew Merrill, Clive Trent, George Munson and Victor R. Emanuel) was, before 1930, quite different from that thought, he was such a precursor such as "Occult Detectives" with a first set of new dating back to 1909 and published in U.S. newspapers that we had thought, until discovered by Morgan Wallace wrote for Weird Tales only in 1926 and 1927 when it was just a disguised re ... He was also the author of a classic SF pre-war The Messiah Of The Cylinder published in the USA in 1917.

(the only picture ever published of Victor Rousseau
in
Argosy, March 1931)

The translations into French of Victor Rousseau are almost nonexistent: a short adventure novel fantastic edition semi-pro ( Balamok The Eye, The Eye of Balamok, in All-Story Weekly , USA, 1920, Ed. Antares, 1991, coll. "Gold of Time "# 1, trans. Moumon JP), a long fantastic story in the anthology 13 stories of witchcraft in Andre Gerard Marabout in 1975 ("When shall ensure the dead gods," "When Dead Gods Wake in Strange Tales of Mystery and Terror, November 1931. USA, a detective story in the magazine's # 1 Quebec My Roman Policier ( "The hand of the corpse," February 1941 "The Crooked Finger", USA 1917) and 3 new non-fantasy about life in a town along the St. Lawrence in the monthly journal La Canadienne Quebec in 1920 and 1921 , original in The Blue Book Magazine , USA, 1914 and 1915.

Victor Rousseau part of authors that I intend to "follow" in Wendigo, I have long hesitated about first novel to be translated, finally opting for an independent history (not bound to its three series of 'Detectives »...) occult and dating from the beginning of his career: "Jackson's Wife" in The Smart Set , USA, May 1909. This text extremely rare and unknown even to many specialists Anglo-Saxon was communicated to me by Wallace Morgan.

Speaking of Morgan, he will take care of the blurb from the news. Morgan also does much more than unknown search for publications by Victor Rousseau since published under the label The Spectrum Library three superb books connected with his jacket and fired at 200 ex. : The Surgeon of Souls (fantastic book, 2006, print), The Tracer of Egos (fantastic book, 2007) Flesh and The Devil (SF novel / thriller, 2008). The site of The Spectre Library: http://www.spectrelibrary.com

To buy an ex. (Including postage ) The Eye of Balamok , which is not exhausted, send a check for 9 Euros payable to "Antares", 19 rue Thiers, 83590 GONFARON.

The news will be translated by Philip Aes.

What Is The Best Expert Advisor Metastock

All these motivators

Inspired? Inspiring? The WebVideo

offer them on a silver platter: motivators. They will communicate a sense of ultimate power in a few sentences tasty. They will simply, with a list of do and not do to become. Become short. Because that's what it question. Not to be. Not happiness. No, the passage of a state x to state y is the upward social mobility is at stake

I caught the following video on Twitter (@ Provokat who also hesitated about the value of the speech). Overall impression: ever heard.

Message condensed into 10 minutes. Usual phrases Cutes shocked: "If you want to learn about lions in the jungle not go to the zoo." Contempt of conformism to invite to the path less traveled. All that magically, with an air of "just do it fuckers".

Not that I do not like motivators. I can not stop sharing it Guy Kawasaki as the good news. I also recommend highly to anyone looking to build something to read "Tribes" by Seth Godin which I am assiduously blog.

What makes me annoyed to be today? The sensation of wind. The motivation is to move much air, and this may be everything. It becomes a comfort in itself. It suddenly feels invincible, it is believed to touch the recipe for success. It's like dreaming of millions by buying a lottery ticket.

"Becoming" is mainly through the barrier of a suffering. I dare say, must still have the strength. That we forget to talk about. It lacks a side of the coin: military training, the sleepless nights, hard times, the discomfort, errors, etc..

One of the greatest qualities of the Internet would offer us the opportunity to do "great things" for yourself (assuming being a blogger is a great thing ... for example). What we are talking very little, the anxiety status. This constant pressure that people "become". There's a philosopher who has laid an book about it. A must read before questioning the length and width. (I liked the documentary discover in this book. If you seek you shall find ...)

Indulge yourself pleasure. Inspiration, motivation is good. Just be prepared to suffer for an omelette that is knowing without breaking eggs never forget that we can eat something else too. In short, everyone's happy!

Wendigo # 1: and the news is ... MORGAN ROBERTSON New format for

To accompany the dossier on Morgan Robertson, I finally chose "From the Darkness & the depht", a story horror with a touch of sea cryptozoology published in the # January 1913 the U.S. journal New Story Magazine.
So a short story by the end of Morgan Robertson's career since he died two years later.
It was taken in 1914 in his book The grain ship then, decades Later, in August 1969 # F & SF ! With a little luck, we could therefore have read in our Fiction National time ...
The translation will be provided by Martine Blond.

How To Make A 3d Furry Character

Wendigo Wendigo

Contrary to what was stated in the introductory message to Wendigo inaugurating this blog, the format of the magazine will not be the standard books of L'Oeil du Sphinx (14/22, 5 cm) but that of the magazine Historia Occultae the same editions, ie 15.5 / 24cm, always 128 p. and bound with approximately square back.

A magazine-style format more so, and allowing a greater visual impact of color coverage, better management of the iconography inside and a little more text for the same number of pages ...

# 1: a novel of Achmed Abdullah

Information that will not surprise those who know me, Achmed Abdullah will be the summary of the Wendigo # 1 with "Fear" (in Detective Story Magazine 3 February 1919) A short story typical of his production and mixing exotic lived adventure, all with a touch of fantasy and a touch of horror. But this time the author takes us away from Chinese and Muslim world that made his reputation on an expedition gone awry in the depths of Africa (translated by Rémy new Lechevalier.) Other unpublished follow him.

(Achmed Abdullah, probably in the 1920s ...
and with a little air at the Jacques Bergier ...)

Born in Crimea in 1881 and son of an aristocrat Russian and princess Afghan Achmed Abdullah was an adventurer and a spy to life impression of legend and mystery before its installation in the U.S. during the 1910s and the beginning of a prolific and brilliant career in the major pulp magazines, newspapers and magazines "chic" that ended with his death in 1945 following heart problems. It also left many books behind him and touched about the film: he was also nominated for an Oscar for best screenplay in 1935 as co-author of the Bengal Lancers Three with Gary Henry Hathaway Cooper.

Opera WebVideo WebVideo

SIEGFRIED from Martin Inda we Vimeo. I

ideas WebVideo creations that make me think of opera. What an opera? The meeting of genres: music, literature, painting, theater and cinema. It is the supreme creative intersection. Whether you like the bel canto or not, you have to admit that there is in the opulence of opera enjoyment by the ultimate extravagance and excess. To demonstrate this video.

I often say that the creative WebVideo can themselves within limits imposed by television codes. I invite to excess, insanity, creation WebVideo opera, opera web, to the intersections possible to build the ultimate experience. Posted
